via North Shore Merchants collective. We are an eclectic, laid back bunch, we love our local businesses and support them. Our favorite activity with visitors is "Dancing" along Frazier avenue. The street is dotted with step by step instructions of many dance forms, you can try them with a partner or alone. Don't be shy, nobody is lookin, try them all.
Restaurants: There are some amazing Portuguese, Greek, several great Mexican, German, Sushi, Spanish tapas restaurants all within 5 mins walking distances. All of them are child friendly and have great happy hour rates. You can also shop in the amazing stores with one-of-a-kind gifts and memoirs that you can take home. The Coolidge park is a fantastic place to hang out , take a picnic from the Good dog or the river street deli and hang out all day. If its not too cold, the kids can play in the water fountain and the unique carousel. Coolidge park is also a great spot to take pictures - the entire Chattanooga downtown skyline forms a perfect back drop. References to local photographers available . You can literally spend a whole day here - start the day at Julie Darling donuts and then end it at clumpies ice cream. Should you want something adventurous , you can try some water sports - rent a kayak, canoe or SUP and traverse the Tennessee river.

If you park smartly, aligned to the edge of the property, you should be able to fit in two cars in the front. You can also avail of free parking on the gravel across the house. There is a parking garage across the house if you want something covered. Most attractions are walkable and the free parking spots in the ciy are rare and few, so go across the house to the Shell gas station, you will find the free electric shuttle that goes all the way to the Chattanooga Choo Choo making frequent stops through the way. If you are tired, you can always Uber home ( most rides are the minimum fare) .
